Use of Rhizophora apiculata and its cut-propagule seedling method for mangrove rehabilitation in Indonesia

Abstract A high decrease in Indonesia’s mangrove forests requires effective and efficient rehabilitation efforts. One of the efforts is use Rhizophora apiculata as adaptive species cut-propagule seedling method for accelerating plant propagation. The objectives this study were to investigate scientific literature on R . analyze growth derived from seedlings. Scientific was collected 2012 2022 Google Scholar. An experimental conducted using following treatments: cut-propagule, regulator, planting media with 3 replications. About 90% 980 articles stated main rehabilitation. However, there no effect seedlings Propagule cutting significantly affects increase height diameter. Treatment propagule cutting, regulator (10 000 ppm), also a combination mud+sand resulted highest increment. diameter can be an alternative produce more than cutting.
